Ethanol attracts water. MPGreen disperses it allowing it to pass though the combustion system without causing harm to the engine. We have heard stories of boaters in Hawaii going far out of their way to find gasoline for their boats with lower ethanol content. It is almost common knowledge now that Ethanol is bad for your engine but why then does the government insist in raising the amount of ethanol in your fuel? The reason is simple. Ethanol does help lower emissions however it causes a whole set of additional problems. Ethanol is hydrophilic it attracts water essentially “pulling” moisture from the air.
Bacteria thrive in stale fuel. Especially Diesel which is hydrophilic meaning it attracts moisture. Biocides are dangerous and do nothing to help your engine apart from killing bacteria the best way to get rid of bacteria in your fuel supply is by cutting off their life support! Bacteria can’t live without water. By dispersing the water with MPGreen you are effectively making the water useless to the bacteria when dispersed at the molecular level the bacteria can no longer service making MPGreen an effective alternative to harmful biocides.
